Andy Ojei is a seasoned professional with over 40 years of experience in accounting, banking, financial services, and construction. His expertise spans various areas, including internal control and audit, human resources, credit risk management, treasury and foreign exchange, and more. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos and a Master’s degree from Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT). Andy has furthered his education at prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School, Lagos Business School, Wharton School, INSEAD, and Stanford in Singapore.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and the National Institute of Credit Administration (FICA). Andy has held leadership roles, including serving as the President and Council Member of the National Institute of Credit Administration of Nigeria and as a Council Member of Ritman University, Ikot-Ekpene.

Throughout his career, Andy has made significant contributions to the organizations he has served. Notably, he played a key role in
establishing Zenith Bank’s first offshore subsidiary in Ghana, leading to its recognition as Bank of the Year in 2008. He has also managed several critical departments within Zenith Bank, including Corporate Banking, Internal Control and Audit, and Property, and played a pivotal role in the expansion of branches in key Nigerian cities.

Andy’s achievements have been recognized with several awards, including the CEO’s Award as Outstanding Role Model and One of the Most Outstanding Mentors. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, golfing, traveling, and networking.
